Why a pain physician started this
Three programs that look unrelated — nursing home safety, street medicine, opioid monitoring — came from one career spent at the intersection where they all actually meet.
An interventional pain physician sees, over decades, the same failure repeatedly: a person whose problem was legible and preventable, arriving at a point where it is neither. The resident whose fall was set up by a handrail. The veteran whose PTSD, back injury and lack of an address were treated as three separate problems by three systems that each solved none of them. The patient whose opioid therapy was appropriate, then unmonitored, then abruptly ended in the name of safety.
Each of the three programs is a response to one of those. That is the through-line, and it is the only reason a single foundation holds all three. How we choose our work →

What this page does not do. Nothing here is medical advice, and this foundation is not the route to Dr. Padda as a clinician. His clinical practice is a separate organization from Sevadar Foundation, and the foundation neither markets it nor receives anything from it. Independence and boundaries →

That third row exists because the error it prevents is common. Why the distinction matters →
